Client
CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center) was established in 1999 with the mission to change the world by developing an innovative ecosystem that make it possible for entrepreneurs to develop new products and companies quicker and better.
Product
CIC is located in Boston, St. Louis and Cambridge. Also, Rotterdam is apart of this, with a location called Het Groothandelsgebouw.
The goal
The goal for this animation was to convince investors and renters of the Groothandelsgebouw of the potential and possibilities of the building. The futuristic atmosphere of the building needed to be translated into the animation.
Our solution
The look and feel of the animation is a combination of 3D and 2D elements. Simple design complemented by graphical and animated 2D elements. The storyline is build up from a sketchy look & feel to a complete future oriented visual.
final result
The animation is build up by bringing separate elements in one by one. In this way we made the building come to life step by step.
process
It was important to apply the CIC corporate identity. Therefore we combined the orange and green shades and looked for additional colors that complement and complete the look and feel.
outcome
In addition to the full length animation we created a super montage for a social short.
