Corporate brand video with animation
Client
Fokker is a name that is rooted in the history of aviation. As an independent service provider for the aviation industry, the company is responsible for supplying and repairing parts used in many different types of commercial aviation aircraft.
Topic
Fokker Services underwent a visual rebrand in 2020. The original recognisable handwritten Fokker logo remains part of the new visual brand identity, but is used in a different way.
The goal
Fokker Services approached Studio Analoog to visualize and promote the new brand positioning in a cinematic way. To communicate the brand values and core activities, we created a brand movie that shows the rebranded identity for the first time. The smart combination of film and animation tells the story of the brand's history, in-house knowledge and employee dedication.
Our solution
This was taken into account during filming and Studio Analoog added the 3D animations to the images. These animations partly function as overlays and show the world of Fokker Services through the eyes of the employees.
final result
To make the animations match the film, the images shot were motion tracked and converted into a 3D environment. With this technique, we were able to combine both camera movements and animations into a believable brand film.
process
We asked Blickfänger to participate in the realization of this project. They were responsible for directing, filming and editing. Together, we developed the concept and story, with the use of animation as a storytelling tool paramount from the start.
outcomes
The animation was implemented internally to inform and excite the entire team about the rebranding. Externally, the video had 30,000 views on YouTube and a lot of engagement on social media due to the various social shorts we made.
