Client
Heijmans N.V. is a major European construction service company with Dutch headquarters. From these business units, approximately 4,700 employees work daily on the spatial design of the Netherlands.
Product
Heijmans was commissioned to reconstruct 'The Square of Leiden'; a shopping area surrounded by homes in the north of Leiden. At the time of writing, the renovations are in full swing and the area is becoming livelier by the day.
The goal
We were asked by Heijmans to capture the atmosphere of the neighborhood by means of a series of floor plans, interior 3D visuals and sections of the houses, which will provide in-depth information to potential buyers.
Our solution
Architecture and 3D visuals are already a familiar combination. We took the opportunity to combine the two in an animation that provides both current and future residents with insight into the impact on the atmosphere and quality of life of the area.
final result
This project brought us new challenges, but in the end, we succeeded in making a coherent series; a combination of 2D and 3D, stills and animation, in one project.
process
While Heijmans focused mainly on the development of the structures, we helped and created the promotional visuals in the process.
outcomes
The various deliverables were used to communicate about the project to the target audience, both on the website and in internal communication sources.
